Regarding sushi in the Ballard neighborhood, there are few options, let alone good ones. Billy Beach Sushi & Bar stands tall above the rest. The food was excellent, and it is one of the few restaurants I've been to in Seattle that offers pressed oshi-zushi. The quality of the fish was high, and the portions were large, which justified the prices for me. The meal's highlight was the amaebi and the expertly battered fried heads. I will return here whenever I'm in the neighborhood and looking for quality sushi.

This was such a cute little sushi bar. The service was amazing and our waitress , Lilly, was super friendly and accommodating. Happy hour menu was great and very convenient. The food was delicious. Highly recommend coming here.

Overall it is good! If you are able to make it for happy hour, highly recommend for Happy 5 Salmon or Tuna Nigiri. They are really good! Unfortunately they don’t have draft beer.

Im 100% coming back whenever I want sushi. From when you walk in you’re greeted. They’re busy because it’s good but they also only had one waiter so I understand a slow response. That’s acceptable but although they may be slow they’re responsive and super helpful. The waiter told me 3 times that she would get to us and I value that because it means she’s aware. When it came to ordering they accommodate gluten free options. They have a few options they can’t make gluten free but their menu tells you all about it. For example they easily substituted tempura shrimp with cooked shrimp. It was such a great experience with great food that wow I left feeling good!

It’s very welcoming as the chef and servers are kind and attentive! Not a fancy type of place, but they offer bar seating and tables.
We had tuna sushi set, super bad boy, bad girl, and chicken bites. We really liked the bad boy and girl dishes :) Also, we’re treated with a free appetizer by the owner!

Excellent environment in downtown Ballard. Fresh Japanese-Mexican fusion with unique rolls, stunning sashimi and great service. Food speaks for itself.

We slammed all kinds of rolls and sashimi. Great selection and fresh fish. Attentive wait staff and pretty quick between orders. I'd recommend.
