After living in the neighborhood for a few years, my first visit to Lloyd Martin was overdue. Their food was phenomenal, and even more impressive considering they change the menu daily. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable when it came to their food and spirits, and was able to walk me through the process of finding a perfect dish. They offer a quiet ambiance, a sociable bartender, and a beautiful back bar. Definitely recommend for a go to date spot, or simply a wonderful dinner.

You know. Pricey but I just love their main dishes. To be honest I haven't really had an appetizer here that I fell in love with but everything else is great.
You need to make sure you order a cocktail of some kind here. The in house bartender (Sean, I think) creates all of the recipes and even ages his own bourbon.
Casual spot. No need for suit and tie.

You won't believe the incredible food that comes out of the tiny kitchen! Elegant and creative cuisine, but always with some haute comfort food options. Cocktails and wine selection make it worth coming here for the bar alone, but treat yourself to something amazing from Chef Sam. Pick anything-- you can't go wrong! Watch for his market tasting menu in the summer and exciting, playful pop-up reinventions from time to time. The service, food, drink, and overall experience are always stellar. It's probably my favorite restaurant in Seattle!
