Daily Grill

Had the chicken pot pie. It was the best chicken pot pie I ever had. It was one of the best dishes I've ever had, and I'm not a big chicken fan. Also had their broccoli cheddar soup and key lime pie. These were fabulous as well. Even more surprising was a ordered my meal as take out, and it was still amazing. I will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Seattle.

Meatloaf was better than I expected, from lunch menu. Huge portion, mashed potatoes and grilled veggies were pretty good also. My lunch mate liked her cheeseburger and fries. Ate in the bar, service was a bit spotty, seemed only one person working that area but food came out hot from the kitchen by another employee. I would eat there again if in the area.

The price was great and the food just as great. 12.50 for the pancakes I've been craving my whole stay. I've paid well over 25 elsewhere for tiny things that I couldn't enjoy or finish due to taste. I couldn't finish these only because the serving was huge. Take this with a grain of salt, though, I'm very picky with my food. Every other restaurant in Seattle I've been to this past weekend has been very... mediocre, especially as a visitor, with the high prices and not as much quality as I'm used to. This one was an extremely pleasant surprise, matching quality with price. Highly recommend, but as with all places, your mileage may vary. My roomie got an omelette and was very pleased as well, and he's a very knowledgeable cook so I'm surprised it exceeded his expectations too.
