A R Deli & Grocery

Was super excited to go to this spot after looking up reviews just moved out here so needed a new spot. I ordered 2 subs and a chicken and shrimp over rice the chicken and shrimp over rice was very good flavor but I payed 17 dollars for literally 5 shrimp and 2 bites of chicken over the rice the portion was so bad I can’t even explain how mad the trip made me especially after sitting outside for 15 minutes until they reopened. I ordered double meat on my sub and the meat doesn’t even cover the bread after paying 11 dollars for that also very over priced and very under portioned everyone was cool and fast service but will not be returning total waste of money I’m not the type to leave a bad review because I always see the positive side of things but this review is much needed from a first timer for future first timers if you’re not a favorite and not known in this bodega I don’t think they care to make your food look like the pictures.. very disappointed and let down after being excited to try it out 😩

Good food but its always something with this dam store. Try to call ahead the phone is literally sitting off the hook.. lets not forget these random 30-45 min breaks. Like ya serious its 2 of yall in the store why are yall breaking at the same time. Good food if u get the chance to order due to simply random breaks that last longer then 35 mins

Best deli in Schenectady. The cooks take pride in what they serve to customers 100% customer satisfaction. Honestly the deli serves the best sandwiches in Schenectady and I would highly recommend. I go there and get the chicken over rice but substitute for a sub instead and they always prepare my order on point and food always hot and fresh. Pricing Is also very reasonable. I don't ever leave a positive feedback on places I eat because food is never to my satisfaction. But this deli exceed in food quality.

Didnt feel like cooking this morning so stopped In to get some pancake breakfasts! Best breakfast I've had in a long time (outside of my home lol) The pancakes are amazing ! The home fries are perfect and crispy but not greasy. The owner is really sweet and kind; every time I go in there it's always great energy from him. Really glad this spot is right by our house. Most bodegas are so trashy and low quality...this one has great vibes and yummy food ☺️ tell the cook my kids and I loved the food! Thank You!

Been coming here for over three years now amazing food and people, Best chicken wings and subs that I have tasted in the capital region, no competition at all people may say this place or that place is better but they don't know, but this is where it's at if you want the best chicken wings and subs this is the place for you. One thing I love about the subs is that they are not afraid to experiment with the subs and add like chips and bacon and other things that other places don't do and is unique to them, would definitely recommend.

Craving chopped cheese since I moved from NYC last year. Asked for pickles instead of peppers in my Seamless notes and they accommodated. Honestly one of the best chopped cheese I’ve ever had. Gooey and ratio of cheese to meat to condiments was spot on. Fries were crispy and not overly greasy, and they poked a hole in the container to vent them. Mozzarella sticks were a miss, but who cares when the rest of the meal was this delicious.

I don’t know what’s taking me so long to review this hidden gem. I’ve been going there for two years it’s run by three Brothers, who are very passionate about what they do and developing a very strong community feel in their neighborhood. They take care of their shop and create excellent food. I hope they have very strong successful career with this bodega
