My Uncle’s favorite sandwich is made here, the portobello mushroom. My tuna melt on rye was delicious! Be sure to ask for their yummy deli pickles and a side of German potato salad!
The service is efficient and the dining area now has more space. Outside dining is also available. You can usually find free street parking nearby. It’s easy to call ahead and pick up takeout.

Old fashioned sandwich shop, serving both hot and cold sandwiches. Good variety of side dishes and salad.
Our favorite are hot pastrami on rye, and brisket on white.
Good place to grab a quick lunch. Service is prompt and attentive.

great place for any meal! Deli sandwiches are always great, especially their roast turkey! Sides are typical of and old school Jewish deli. Be prepared to wait even taking out. It's always packed because it's always great! Parking is not great but understandable of a city establishment.

Everyone who works here is SO sweet. Seriously, I've been in here on a weekday, weekend, morning, afternoon, doesn't matter, they're always super kind and friendly. The food is generously portioned and real cheap. I'm honestly surprised not to see more college kids in there when I go. This place is the best!

Sadly, not the same old Gershon's. Just got a sandwich to-go for lunch today and what a disappointment: a "regular" hot pastrami on rye is now $11.50 (!!!). While the pastrami is still delicious, there's so little of it provided that the result is a pathetic product more accurately described as a deli-slider. There was literally more bread than meat. Pickle is still great, bread fine, but the amount of product Gershon's now decides to give you for something approaching $12 is an embarrassment to the legacy & history of the brand.

Awesome deli! The wait staff are super kind and helpful! We went as a group and had the Reuben and a few different triple deckers make sure to order something with pastrami! If you’re super hungry get the triple decker A and if you want something warm get the Reuben. Also the pickles are to die for

We ordered 3 sandwhiches 2 reubens which are the best in schy so much meat and cheese omg and sauerkraut was soooo good and also a tuna sub my husbands fav...the pickles are sooo good def Reccommend..wasnt to crowded but thats a good thing means the food is great!!!! The menu is mindblowing will def be going back possibly this sat...keep up the great service....😀❤

Because your classic, Gershons. New dill pickles, tuna sandwiches. Wayyyy too much meat on the sandwich which is not a bad compliment. Dr. Brown’s soda and probably your math teacher in the back corner eyeing you for that class you skipped 10 years prior. Be prepared to see old classmates. I’ve been going here since before I could walk.
