Sunset Swirl

The first time I went to Sunset Swirl the owner was working the cart and was so helpful as I had a child with me that had allergies. She went through the whole list of ingredients and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! She took allergies very seriously. Not only was she helpful but the ice cream was delicious! My kids who are not vegan love it. My favorite flavor is Chai but all are good. We have gone back multiple times.

Coming from a background of eating dairy only icecream I was blown away by how flavorful the vegan icecream is and how delicious the flavors are. Since finding out about this icecream, both me and my parents have switched to just eating this, it's so good it's hard not to. There is a good variety of flavors so that everyone can find something they want. There is even sprinkles and magic shells which are also vegan and delicious! I would highly sugguest checking out both the cart on the plaza and the shop as there are some flavor differences at the two locations. A great summer treat!

The ice cream here tasted so much like coconut it was hard to eat, and the service was less than satisfactory. I have had this ice cream once before and was not impressed, but I graciously decided to give it another try. After paying for my poorly scooped cone I reached to put my change in the tip jar but my scoop fell. When I gave a heart broken look to the employee working at the time, she shrugged her shoulders and did not help clean up my ice cream or offer any sort of refund. In my opinion, this was incredibly irresponsible and disrespectful. Next time I am craving ice cream, I will take my business elsewhere.

I'm a huge meant fan, they're mint chip ice cream will be the mint ice cream by which all other mint ice creams are now measured against. It's got definite recall factor, part of me is glad I just bought the one because it is highly addictive. My coworker had been raving about it and how I could find it at la montanita coop, but everytime I would go it would be gone. I finally lucked out and found some now I know why. Oh and it's vegan to boot.
