On a family trip to Santa Fe and stumbled into this joint. Really nice decor and yummy ice cream. I ordered the affogato cause I need some caffeine booster, for $6 it’s a very small portion but it tastes good.

Cafe Atalaya is a relatively new crepe/gelato/coffee shop inside of The Plaza, and everytime I go it's awesome! The gelato selection is delicious, drinks are constantly being innovated and updated, and the staff is great. Tried the Matcha Lemonade today, good stuff. 🍵🍋

What a great place and location. They have so much to offer in a warm inviting atmosphere: creaps, gelato ice-cream, coffee and various teas, like chai. The creaps are both very authentic while being very creative, with items like green chile chicken creps (think burrito). Generous portions

Excellent breakfast spot. Great coffee and tasty crepes. We split a savory vegetarian crepe and a sweet tree hugger crepe and they are both great. Will visit again!

This place opened up not too long ago and I'm really happy that it did. Though, I had yet to try one of their sweet/dessert crepes; their savory alternatives proved themselves to be more than superb during my previous visits.
I most recently ventured into Cafe Atalaya a few days ago while strolling my way through the Santa Fe plaza. Not in the mood to pay an egregious amount of money for a 4oz scoop of ice cream from Hagen-Daz. Instead, I opted to indulge on something that would be a little more filling and worth its price tag: a freshly made savory lemon-sugar crêpe.
Served straight to your table decorated in powdered sugar; the presentation of the deserts alone is enough to make you salivate.
The crêpe was cooked wonderfully and the lemon filling was neither too sweet nor excessive. What made this crêpe really pop for me was the house-made whipped cream; which comes served aside the desert.
A neat little spot on the plaza that offers an array of European inspired delicacies while also showcasing a modern/hipsteresque vibe. Whether a local or a tourist, Cafe Atalaya is definitely a place you should stop by and check out.

During my order, the staff were kind and patient. I decided on the turkey BLT crepe with berry hibiscus tea. The meal was delicious! On my way out, I bought a pastry for the road. I was content, happy, and ready to face the heat.

Great flavors make this a cozy stop from which to enjoy treats while watching life on the plaza. We shared a goat cheese salted caramel vanilla ice cream crepe, which was all yum!

My husband & I watched the owner/chef for 3 days make all kinds of crepes from the huge window front-facing the Plaza. Every time we passed by, we'd stop & watch. Tonight, we ordered the nutella, strawberry, banana crepe...amazing. The chef is super nice and cares to make each crepe special. What a fun experience! I don't know how the chef makes all the crepes from breakfast to lunch to dinner to dessert without a break? We will always stop to eat here from now on.
