Holy cow the food here is amazing. I had originally decided on the brisket burrito but upon entering and smelling the BBQ I changed my mind and went with the slammer sandwich. It was the best thing I've eaten on this trip, hands down. The sweet honey glaze combined with the sausage and pulled pork was just pure deliciousness. The place was packed and upon eating your first bite you see why. The nachos were great too and everything had very generous portions. You won't leave hungry and you'll definitely leave happy!!

Really great and outstanding service, just sublime. I have encountered a lot of great service before, but among those, this stood out in such a great way. They were attentive, pleasant, and just overall awesome in every way. The waiter was glad to quickly consummate our orders and requests. In addition to that, the food was exceptional and our waiter ensured that it was palatable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you pass through Santa Fe. The service is incredible and the same can be said for the food. Thank you, Doug, for such great service. It was sincerely the best I’ve had in a long time. Attached is a photo of the Chicken Avocado sandwich and of the Smokehouse BBQ Burger.

We were told to choose our own seat on the patio and we did. Then we were ignored by the staff for 15 minutes. The hostess was rude when I went in to check as a couple that sat after us were served their appetizers. No waters, no server, and staff was inside pointing at us and then quickly looking away. The rude hostess that snapped unapologetically the server was "coming right out" was wrong. We waited another five minutes. Our server was friendly and very apologetic. We were served quickly everything but the check. Our kids ordered cheeseburgers but one came without cheese 😕 It was remedied quickly. Seems like the front of house had communication issues or at the very least hospitality issues. Food was pretty good, it hit the spot. Half chicken was a little dry and a little bland, but the sides and cornbread were tasty.

The food was good, I came in for Lunch with my coworkers recommendation. My server straight up ignored me, had to flag down another server. Was given my food with no utensils, and waited 10 minutes for my receipt. The girl seemed to have been more focused of personal matters to deal with me. Otherwise the meal was good

The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is ok. The food portions are moderate and price is slightly higher than most places in Santa Fe. Make sure to repeat and repeat your order to your waiter, they were more concerned with speed of service than quality.

Basic restaurant. Good for a meal if you are passing by. I had the Salmon Tacos meal. Although the Salmon was tender and not dry, the prepared taco relied on the toppings for flavor. The Salmon itself was void of spices. Visually, the dish was pleasing. The “coleslaw” was made with a sliced cucumber salad, which was an appealing choice. The refried beans were the best part of the dish. The beans had a creamy texture and were tasteful. While I did not taste them, my husband had the chicken wings. When I asked his opinion of them, his response was that they were just “Ok.”

Frankly, I typically eat lunch here when my car is at the nearby Santa Fe BMW for servicing. They open for lunch at 11AM. Still, the food is good and the service attentive. I could get a very good soup instead of a side with my ribs for $1. The ambiance is good, no complaints.

After a week of Mexican and New Mexican, it was a nice change of pace to find a place like this that offers some different food and is conveniently located outside the touristy core of Santa Fe. The atmosphere is slightly upscale but not fussy, and the prices are moderate. I tried the turkey that is only available on Tuesdays and it had a nice smoked flavor, but the portion size was fairly small. The BBQ beans side was clearly "home made" and seasoned with cumin and onion. The potato salad was slightly pretentious compared to the good southern potato salad I'm used to back home in Alabama. This had some crunchy bits and was very creamy but was otherwise unremarkable. The green chile cornbread was sweet like I like but didn't have any green chile *flavor* at all. It was basically just regular cornbread despite visible flecks of green here and there. I also got a chance to sample the brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was a winner with a good smoke ring and lots of flavor. It was tender, too! The pulled pork was a misnomer, however. It was sliced, not pulled. It was also dry. The two sauces - regular and mild - were pretty pedestrian, too. The regular was more sweet than anything, but lacked any kind of rich tomato or molasses undercurrent to really stand out. The hot version might as well have been mild by the rest of the country's BBQ sauce standards -- odd considering how spicy New Mexican chile cuisine tends to be. Our party finished off with the brownie sundae for dessert. The ice cream was store-brand but the brownie was rich and chewy, with gobs of chocolate flavor. While the food was at least decent, everything seemed to be served at a lukewarm temperature except the potato salad and brownie dessert. Being let down by that and the subpar pork means I can't rate this place higher, but I'm willing to give a second shot in the not too distant future.
