Golden Corral

There will never be another golden corral like the very first one we had here in Sanford but I will say the one we have needs some work he's on their menu and what they offer is and the desserts could be a lot better in my opinion ! Overall though for the price it is still the best place to take the family to enjoy a great meal and lots of veggies and extras ! Weekend is the best time to go and their breakfast for the buck is banging ! I've seen lots of kids eat so much better from here a d we as parents are able to get some of the good foods and the not so good ones in them so it balances out ! The discounts military and seniors as well as disabled recieve plus the prices for kids is great ! Best way to go if your really wanting a hot meal and a great time to spend with your family ! The servers we have always had have never been ride and are so attentive to our needs so please remember to tip them as they are well deserving of it for the most part from what we have experienced!

Mother's Day was perfect! Although the restaurant was busy, we where seated, got drinks and plates quickly, and the buffet was well stocked with our favorite foods. The switchover from breakfast to lunch offerings went smoothly as well. Thank you Golden Corral of Sanford, for helping us start this day great for our mom with ease.

Waiter was fantastic. Great service from him. The food set up, was garbage. Had to keep asking for them to refill items(got there at 7 no reason for that) and don't get me started on the temp of ALL the food we were eating was cool or just plan ice cold... Very disappointed but the ice cream set up. The tables were dirty as we were walking to our table. Spent 30$ and believe me, not worth it. Well not be coming back. Food safety requires all cooked/premade food to be at a certain temp. Food poisoning is a real thing.

Had a decent meal yesterday evening. My mom took me and my son to Golden Corral. It was my son's first time there and second time ever to a buffet. He was super excited for salad but unfortunately they don't carry his favorite dressing, pomegranate vinaigrette, he tried another vinaigrette and he said it was too spicey. 😄 He was thrilled to be able to get a big bowl of applesauce! He is really picky, but I was really surprised he liked the macaroni and cheese. We also got some of the strawberry icecream topping and mixed it in after he ate about half of his bowl. He said that was the best thing ever. 😅 We were pleasantly surprised to see the slushy machine and enjoyed the cherry limeade. I enjoyed the sweet potato casserole, which I always have, sautéed mushrooms, cabbage, macaroni and cheese, and a fresh dinner roll. But those are some of my "I have to haves" from Golden Corral. I did have a small slice of chocolate cake, I did not eat the icing bc I didn't like it, but the cake was really good. We did sit on the left side of the restaurant, salad bar side, and it was so very hot. The dessert side was much much cooler. The temp of the restaurant is my only complaint for this visit.
