Don's Restaurant

Don’t ask for order takeout We called in to order at 11:17. We ordered 2 omelets to go, and were told it would be 20 minutes. Arri ved at Dons at 11:30 and told the waitress we were there to pick up a takeout order. She acknowleged the order. Sat down at the bar and waited, there were a couple of empty booths at this time. Other patrons ( set 1) came in and were seated. At 11:50, same waitress said it shouldn’t be much longer. Another set of patrons (Set 2)arrived and were seated. At 12:00 the patrons (set 1) who came in after us were served their food. At 12:14 the patrons (set 2) were also served their food. I asked the same waitress if it was going to be much longer, for people who came in after us were being served. She checked on our order and came back and told us no one had processed our order and we were now 3rd in line. No apology, no other explanations. We got up and left, and we straight over to Sybils on State street sat down and had breakfast.
