Ohana Poke Bar

I was on a morning walk with a co-worker, and just happened to pass Ohana Poke Bar. I decided to stop back by for lunch......since I love Poke. The establishment was clean & the staff was very friendly and I learned they just had their grand opening the day before. I had never been to a Poke Bar before, and the young woman that helped me, had no problem guiding me through the experience. For less than the price of what I would usually pay for a sushi roll somewhere else....I got a Poke Plate (they offer smaller bowls) on a bed of 1/2 brown rice & 1/2 Kale and Orange Salad. For the Poke, I had salmon, albacore tuna, and octopus……tossed in their popular house made sauce....along with red onions, green onions, marinated cucumbers, seaweed salad, and mango. It was topped with a drizzle of spicy mayo, fried garlic, fried onions & a sesame seed/dry seaweed mixture. It was AMAZING!! I will definitely be returning to try the many options they offer. If you are a fan of Poke or even Sushi.........you must give this place a try. You will not be disappointed :)

I love this place have been there twice now.. Food is fresh and very tasty. Downfall is no indoor seating to go only there are two picnic tables out front be prepared to share with your new found friends. Drinks are bit pricey grab one from Safeway next door for more selection. Also there only seems to be two girls working in there and sometimes there is a line and its a bit slow... Need an extra staff person from 11-1.$13 for a regular and like $7-8 for a small. It seems pricy but the same as a sushi roll and you get more!

Good options for a good price, they give 3 scoops of protein per poke bowl for a cheaper price than some places do for 2 scoops. The fish is very fresh and I love their prawns. I also like how they have brown sushi rice since most poke places brown rice is not sticky and harder to eat with chopsticks.

This restaurant recently opened in the midtown in the safeway and ramen complex. They have limited parking spots. And this place, you make your own own poke burrito bowl. They added so much kale, less meat and I wish they had given more sauce to my lunch. Next time, I'm asking for everything extra. It's a small restaurant
