Teriyaki Time

I get the teriyaki chicken plate and its a consistently large portion- probably two meals for most. Their teriyaki sauce is delicious and a little sweet. They also let me me do double salad instead of veggies and salad and they let my co-worker do extra veggies, no rice on his spicy thai chicken at no additional cost. Highly recommend!

I've been going to this place for more than a decade because I used to work near there. While the place has changed due to 2020, I'm glad it survived because the staff within are great-- I believe family owned-- and always clean. They've upgraded their payment tech, reduced their seating arrangements, increased their menu options, and, of course, their prices. However, I keep coming back because I love their sauce. I regularly order the chicken teriyaki plate but will sometimes get miso soup or shrimp tempura. Since they started selling their sauce in a bottle, I stock up at home. The sauce is very versatile, I use it in chicken recipes, with potstickers, on ham, and of course, on rice. I call it Heaven on earth and hope they never run out.

Wanted to try this place out and it's pretty good I'd say but I had to get my order remade because the first bowl I got didnt look too good it was a little too dry looking and something on it so I had to go back to get another bowl. I've gotten the chicken bowl and portion of chicken in the bowl was pretty decent. The veggies I've gotten on there wasn't much had like 1 broccoli, alot of bean sprout, and some cabbage. Kinda wish there was more broccoli and cabbage rather than the bean sprout. A good amount of rice in the bowl. Chicken in the bowl could be more fresh but it's still really good. I asked for teriyaki sauce on the side, not too sure if it was suppose to be on the chicken originally but I like my sauce on the side. Overall if I were to rate the bowl itself, it's like a 7.5/10 but if the chicken was more fresh I would give it a 9/10
