Yang's Noodle

Update as of 2/7/22: they are very shortstaffed (probably due to COVID) and are not serving handmade noodles. However, they are open for dine in! They were take out only for the longest time when the pandemic first hit. I ordered the Xiao long bao, beef noodle soup, and braised pork over rice. THE BRAISED PORK OVER RICE IS SO DELICIOUS. I got 2 little bok choy halves on the dish as well as a boiled brown egg. The flavor was just amazing and I wolfed it down. The beef noodle soup was also pretty good, but not the best that I've had. There is a very mild kick to it but it is not spicy (I can't handle spice and I was able to eat it no problem.) I do think the soup lacked some extra spice? The Xiao long bao was not very good in my opinion. The soup itself inside the dumplings was a little bland and I think the dumplings lacked onions or chives or something to add to the flavor. The vinegar was also very mild with no ginger added. I was seated immediately and service was very fast. The toilets are not open to public FYI. The indoor decorations are very nonassuming and modest. Prices are a little high for what is actually on the dish, but to be honest there are not that many Taiwanese places around here and they might have needed to raise their prices to stay open. Support small businesses everyone! Yang's has been around for a while and it would be sad to see them go. 4 stars for braised pork and beef noodle soup and excellent, rapid service.

Decided to stop by to try this place out today and I did not regret it. I wish I would've tried it sooner. The beef noodle soup has nice cuts of braided beef in a beef broth along with hand pulled noodles. Very nicely done. The XLBs were amazing and each one comes sitting inside a little metal bowl/spoon to catch all the juicy goodness. The service was great. The waitress was very polite and attentive, I never had to ask for anything. Will definitely be coming here more in the future to try more of the menu.

Absolutely AMAZING. My girlfriend and I have been eyeing this place for so long. Finally, one day, we were in the area and decided, we're already here, let's go. And by golly-gee, the food knocked my freaking socks off. My girlfriend and I ordered the beef noodle soup, sichuan dan dan noodles, and beef chow fun. I couldn't tell you a flaw in any of the dishes. Beef noodle soup was SUPER flavorful, I've had plenty of beef noodle soups in my life and this one was already leagues better when I tasted just the broth. The dan dan noodles were amazing, the sichuan flavor was like heaven on earth. The beef chow fun had this flavor to it, I cannot explain it, but it is what I would say sets Yang's Noodles apart from everywhere else. We actually came back a few days later with some friends and they were also absolutely blown away by how delicious everything was. They make their noodles in house, everything is delicious, the staff is polite and helpful. If you're in the area, or heck, even if you're not, I would highly recommend you try out Yang's Noodles.

So, to start off! The texture of the hand pulled noodles is awesome! I wasn't sure if all the dishes were hand pulled, so I asked the waitress for their best dishes, she responded Beef Noodle Soup and Chow Mein! Now, everyone keeps mentioning the Beef Roll. It was definitely the STAR of the show! So delicious and flavorful! It's a rolled pastry like roll that was either fried or baked. The only disappointment were the soup dumplings, which were very bland and gooey. Even with the sauce, there wasn't too much flavor to be found. Would return to this place for the beef roll or the chow mein! And would want to try that beef noodle soup.
