A peaceful restaurant with good foods and actually affordable. We were there few times and always had good experience.

My daily go to Sushi place, prices is super affordable, less than $10 / roll, Ramen is available as well, food quality superb, because owner has been in Sushi business for 20+ yrs several locations in Sacramento very popular, lots of parking and easy to go to. This business has been opening for 6 yrs, give it a try and you are going to love it.

came here with my family in this hot season. this place is clean and cool . the food was excellent with decent price. and our waiter gave us the best experience ever. offered we the seat with shade when we wanted to sit at the booth next to the window with the heat of the sun. and recommended us the hamachi kama and bbq albacore was bomb!!!

The sushi, an IZ roll and a Dragon roll, is arranged in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
The sushi is always fresh and prepared to order. The glass of wine complements the sushi and adds a touch of sophistication.

Oba Japanese Kitchen is one of my top 5 sushi restaurants. I’ve been to Japan, and there won’t be anything like it here in the states, but Oba is a little closer than most places. Their sashimi are fresh and no fishy smell. I ordered the Pepper Fin sashimi and it was melt in your mouth greatness. The Shiro Maguro was fresh but the fish was thinly shaved. Both had daikon with ginger and wasabi. The IZ roll was rolled tight, fresh but it did lack in flavor. I’ve been coming here for years and will remain a loyal customer. 🫶🏼

Very good but there are times where it can be better. My waiters have been very nice and helpful when providing allergy friendly foods or accommodations to us. Great option but personally unsatisfactory on taste.

I usually order here with doordash, it is so, so, so much better when you dine in! Highly reccomended, this place deserves more traffic.
