Love, love, love this place! From the super silly to the sophisticated, they have a great variety of nice, beautiful and fun stuff - at all different price ranges. Very similar to Evangeline's, but a bit more sophisticated.

Very unique store , I visited it 3-4 times over Christmas to get various gifts . They have a huge selection of things you won't find anywhere else ! Absolutely love this store ! The people who run it are so sweet ! Sacramento gem!

I go in just to enjoy all the great gift ideas. Actually did some shopping this week. It is a perfect go to for gifts from a child's toys to kitchen aprons, hats, cards, pictures, Gadgets. Almost any gift.
It reminds me of the older Hallmark stores or a favorite of mine, Anderson Brother's Pharmacy in Town & Country in Carmichael. I can shop for more than I need or enjoy browsing. Both places have awesome helpful staff. Thank you !

Every time I come inside, the layout is different, new items replace old, merchandise is moved around , I love this place. Great for gifts, unusual kitchen supplies, novelty socks, Papyrus greeting cards, toys and games for the kiddos, beautiful bags and scarves for the ladies, the list is endless. Mixed Bag fills a huge void in Midtown for high end yet reasonably priced goods. They've kept their doors open since the 80s, and that speaks for itself. Staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable - professional and courteous. Come in and spend too much money on stuff you'll love forever.
