Buckhorn Bbq

I ordered take out from the Sac UV location. It was perfect! Cooked fresh, exactly as ordered, packaged to travel and all the condiments were there. I ordered the Roadhouse Salad full size with tri tip. More than enough food to fill you up! It’s loaded with stuff - they weren’t stingy or just all lettuce. $11.75 plus the tri tip $5.25. If you like beans .. def get a side of Jakes Yummy Beans. I got the regular for $5.75 and that would have been enough on its own. So flavorful and good! It’s more like a chili with tri tip. Total with tax $28.73. Btw .. order online for delivery. They use DoorDash and strangely enough it’s cheaper online to order delivery through them then ordering on the DoorDash app by $3. Little pricey for lunch but worth the money!

Always enjoyed Buckhorn, but this time has been the best. They were busy which was expected that it's a weekend and a Sac St graduation. But staff was helpful, the bartenders came out from the bar and took orders when a line formed. I unfortunately cannot remember her name, but the female bartender went above and beyond by getting us an extra app while my son's sandwich took a little longer than the rest of our food. Everything tasted great. Definitely a good team working today!

Good barbecue, wonderful service and a nice atmosphere for bringing your family. They have a couple of locations throughout Sacramento and have done a good job creating a consistency with their food and experience. The barbecue tri-tip is definitely the gem on their menu. They have meat platters with sides, but also burgers and sandwiches too. The service is always wonderful at every location I've been too, so they're doing something right with their training, hiring and pay of staff. While I think there are fantastic places to eat barbecue, Buckhorn is a good, safe bet when you're craving it.

I recently visited Buckhorn BBQ + Grill and had a fantastic experience. The portions were large, making it a great value for the price. The meat was delicious and cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. I appreciated the variety of sauces available, allowing me to customize my meal to my liking. The menu was also extensive, offering a variety of options for all tastes. Even vegetarian. Although the restaurant was quite busy on a weekday, the staff was efficient and friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this BBQ restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a fun atmosphere.

It was my first time at this location and it was great! I'm so high maintenance at Buckhorn because I like so many specific things and want them all together. So my go to is the Asian Chicken salad in a tortilla bowl and instead of tortilla strips I get the fried onion strings. It is so frickin' good!! I usually ask for the dressing on the side, however, because sometimes they can br heavy handed when mixing it in. My BF got the pulled pork tacos and said they were good. Plus he got the tri tip bites, and it was way too much food. What's great is that their leftovers are really delicious as well. The staff was super friendly and efficient. I encourage you to get their app. They are very generous with their rewards. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
