The Coffee Garden

I went here with several co-workers for a work holiday gathering and it is just about a block down the street from the famous Gunther's ice cream on Franklin boulevard. This restaurant is nestled in a very quaint and charming Curtis Park neighborhood. The food is not bad. I ordered the meatball sandwich and it comes with a side salad. It was a good, decent portion and was tasty. They have a large outdoor dining area with outdoor heaters. They also have indoor dining too. They had a really good selection of beer and wine.

We just had a family gathering here for our 1-year-old's first birthday. Jeannine (the owner) helped us plan the event. She was responsive, kind, and very accommodating. There were no additional fees--we simply reserved a space and family ordered the food and drinks they wanted off of our party's tab. We did have the option to order food in advance of the event as well, though we did not feel we needed to. We had our party on their back patio, which is a wonderful, relaxed space. They have misters to keep everything comfortably cool even on an August day. Lots of space for the little ones to crawl around. Staff at the restaurant offered help and checked on us throughout the party. Food and drinks were fresh and delicious. We couldn't have been happier, and would definitely recommend Hop Gardens for a birthday party or other event, or just for friends and family to gather and be together. 5 stars!

Decent place with a great patio out back. The pizza is decent, salads can be a little bland and poor quality sometimes. I miss their mozzarella sticks the most. They also don't do samples so it's a risk getting a beer you've never tried. I ended up just getting the seltzer for that reason. Staff is friendly and chill. Also dog friendly!!!

I love Hop Gardens. They carry a variety of beers, and always have a seltzer and hard kombucha. The Shorebirds hard kombucha I got was AMAZING! The food is also exceptional. We've tried their pizzas, salads, wings, appetizers, and subs. It's hard to find good salads or lower carb dishes, but their Caeser is delicious and so are the asparagus. This spot has become a regular hangout. Can't wait to enjoy the patio more as the weather gets better.

Want the best wings in town? Well this is where you get them! I love that they are open at 10 am in Sundays so I can watch football and get pizza and wings. They have an extensive beer list, but also always have a cider, hard seltzer and hard kombucha on draft. Their pizza is equally as good as the wings and the cauliflower crust is the best I’ve ever had! I cannot say enough about this place! A gem in Curtis Park!
