Eric and Rosalie were amazing add the miso for starters because it's the foundation all the quality meal here Eric recommended St Francis without frying it which I appreciate it because it took away from the traditionalness of the roll it had a lot of personality so I had to concentrate on that one first before I had the dragon roll which had a crisp simplicity to it and what I can only identify is almost a pickled cucumber that I would do a disservice If I mix that with the St Francis The ginger will not allow me to distinguish the two apart so I have to commit to one before the other One got eaten but I'm very satisfied. Now I have to come back and have the St Francis fried to understand why I appreciated his recommendation

Very chill and relaxing place. The decor and atmosphere was really nice. The food proportions were very generous and the ungai is spot on! It's hard to find places that have the perfect amount of sauce for the unagi bowl. Too bad I live further away but when I come to Sacramento always makes it a priority to come back. Fish is fresh and refreshing!

It was a great place to go eat! The sushi was awesome and delicious, the service staff was friendly, I don’t know where else could have been so great to go if not Bento Box! I don’t know if they did, but I think they raised their prices, which is okay, but I’ve been to sushi places that are just as good but maybe six dollars cheaper. Anyway, great place, awesome food, a tad too expensive for my taste but if it’s for a special occasion, I think that can be overlooked. 👍🏼 (I can’t remember what sushi rolls we ordered, but I remember loving all of them.)

Love it! 5 stars for sure. We were visiting Sacramento for a couple of days. I was craving sushi again. Found Bento Box near the Goodwill we were shopping at. They opened at 4pm with happy hour. Even better! 50% off sushi rolls. We ordered 3 rolls. Honestly, I couldnt finish the one roll I ordered. And thats a good thing. It was delicious and very filling. I wish they had a restaraunt back home in Santa Cruz. The popcorn shrimp over the Kilamanjari roll i ordered was the best. My chopstix skill is alot better now that I eat sushi almost every week.

We decided to go for dinner and had an amazing experience. We arrived around 8:30 pm, and luckily, it wasn't too crowded, so we were promptly seated. The restaurant has plenty of seating options, including space at the bar if you prefer. I ordered the vegetable roll and miso soup, while my friend opted for the bento box. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it out and would love to visit again in the future. Furthermore, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal.

First time visiting this restaurant. Apparently we arrived early as there were only 2 tables with customers. We ordered and by the time our meal arrived the restaurant began time fill. It filled quickly! The food was very, very good! The staff was top notch! And, the ambiance was great! We were surprised when we tasted the mushroom bombs...what an explosion of flavor! We had a very satisfying experience! We'll be back!
