Great food and staff was super friendly and helpful. Went for a birthday dinner and they gave us some ice cream and churro with a big sparkler, very cool. They give you complementary chips and salsa with a hot mole dip which tastes fresh and delicious. We had a pitcher of mango margaritas which were delicious, especially with the salty sweet rimmed glasses they gave us. Will definitely go back soon. You can make a reservation online thru Google maps which is cool because it gets very busy during the dinner rush time

I had an appointment nearby and stopped here for lunch. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was very welcoming and attentive. The food was good, though I didn't like the mushrooms in my pasta. I usually love mushrooms, but something was off about the way they fit with the gnocchi. A woman who I assume was the manager came and asked about how my food was, and I was honest about the mushrooms. She appreciated the feedback and let me know that they had 2 new chefs and that the menu would be changing soon. She was very friendly and ensured that things would be better the next time I came, which I believe! I plan on going back the next time I have to head that way to try out the new menu. I would recommend it.

Went here for the first time and I was totally surprised 😮 I’ve been hearing about this place forever and in my mind I thought it would be more smaller inside based on its location. We a party of 8 and were very comfortable and sat in the middle of the establishment. I love the open kitchen and bar . We almost had a 360 view. Now for the food we enjoyed the happy hour 🍻 2 pitchers of margaritas (Cadillac) also some fish tacos 🌮 shrimp tacos 🌮 and the Pozole all very good. I prefer the fish over the shrimp 🍤 after trying both. Also the Pozole came out cold 🥶 and with no hesitation they replaced it with a delicious hot 🥵 freshly cooked bowl 🥣

Great Place To Eat! One of My Daughter's Favorite Places to go. I love their Ceviche both Shrimp and Fish. It's the best Ceviche I have eaten in Sacramento. I'm not a fan of all the Cotija cheese It's Pretty stinky lol!!! I asked them to calm down with the cheese they throw a little on almost everything. The bean dip, Tacos, guacamole... Me & My Close Friend aka Sister came for Taco Tuesday so we could hang out & catch up. We caught Happy Hour & had a little fun!

Huge portions and welcoming staff. Tried their taco mix plate and didn't expect it to come with rice and beans. The seasoned rice was delicious and so worth it! So glad I did the mix tacos, really a great variety to choose from. The bar also accommodated me and made a non-alcoholic blackberry margarita. Really recommend if you're trying to cut down on alcohol, but still want a fancy drink.

An upscale restaurant in a shopping center complex next to safeway. I came here for the happy hour however I forgot to order from the happy hour menu. But that was okay because overall the food was presented nicely and the atmosphere was relaxing.... They begin with the chips, salsa and beans. Everyone in our party had a variety of different entries. I thought it was mediocre food but presented very well. However the majority of my party thought the food was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and the hostess we're very helpful. I definitely have to come back here again with my wife for her birthday because I enjoy the fire working candle that they provi did on the ice cream. And of course i'm going to be cheap and take advantage of the happy hour specials. Those mojitas appear to be a hit.....ha

It’s Friday night (4/7) dinner at Zocalo’s. We’ve been here many many times. We didn’t have a reservation. Was just my wife and I. They put us down on the wait list, said it would be about 30 minutes. Ended up waiting only like 15 minutes. The place was fairly busy but not packed. Service was good but not over whelming. Our order was placed within less than 10 minutes after getting seated. Was served with their traditional chips and salsa while we waited for our food. All very good. Our food arrived within 10 minutes. Like all other times, the food presentation is on point. All very nicely done. Food is also is very tasty. We were here during Happy Hour. What a bargain. Got drinks to go with it too (2 black berry margaritas). Overall, our experience was very good. Would totally return. Highly recommend. Restaurants 5/5. Service 5/5. Food 5/5. Food presentation 5/5. My first time here our first waiter didn't really tell us his name n didn't provide much good service. The atmosphere was great music was cool and Kayla I want to say her name was changed everything because I was going to git this with 1 star even when food was good. Proper introduction checked on us made sure we were great while continuing to finish our drinks and headed out. Much appreciated she was able to make our first time a lot better experience.
