Americana Pizza

We visited because a wedding reception was held here. No idea if it was because of the planning or the execution of the event that was the real issue. I suppose it could have been both? I am not a fan of thin crust pizzas and that was all that was available today. The toppings were tasty and plentiful. There were some wings when we first arrived but 4 wings of 3 different flavors was insufficient for 30+ people. They had pitchers of sodas and it wasn't bad if you got some from a fresh pitcher. Within a couple of minutes it was pretty flat. Clean tables, responsive staff and clean restrooms improved the experience.

We took our daughter and the rest of the family to look at Indiana University East for a potential option for school, and stopped at Americana Pizza in Richmond IN. and it was some of the best authentic pizza we've ever had, a lot different from the pizza restaurants that mass produce they take their time and give amazing customer service.

We were able to make it to Americana on a Saturday night for food and live music. The pizza was excellent, the breadsticks were good, both were reasonably priced. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server was delightful, and a good time was had by us all. Indeed, we will be visiting again in the future!

Very cool restored location. I am confident that once the operational wrinkles get ironed out this will be a go to pizza joint. We placed an order and the young employee must have forgotten to write our name down. I was told that they didn’t have our order, maybe we called it in to another location. Long story short it was a confusing situation. In the end the owner/manager was very nice and polite she handle everything very well. With that kind of leadership I think this place will do well.

When you first pull into the parking lot, it's not apparent right away where you enter. However once inside you're met with a great atmosphere. I ordered a 16" pizza, 2 orders of breadsticks, 2 cheese sauces, and one pizza sauce to go. It came out quickly in around 10 to 15 minutes. After arriving home, and checking my order I realized I didn't receive my pizza sauce, but did not effect my experience. The breadsticks were pretty standard, but still good as well as the cheese sauce. The pizza is where Americana truly shines. Cooked to perfection with crisp crust, delicious cheese, sauce, and juicy pepperoni. The best pepperoni pizza in town. 👍
