Ullery's Homemade Ice-cream

Not a fan. Atmosphere isn’t welcoming. It all tastes the same:icy milk. Too pricey for me, though I appreciate the history. Asked what was gluten free and they just shrugged their shoulders (hopefully this has changed). Newest location is more inconvenient and less likely people are to just walk by and stop in. I’d rather buy something good tasting at grocery, Culver’s (or Muddy Monkey’s which unfortunately isn’t here anymore) and eat at home where it’s comfy. I like the small business aspect of it, but just don’t understand how they’ve stayed open all these years. Never busy, and when I have tried it, I’ve been the only one in there. Even during the Christmas festival.

TRY THE WAFFLE CONES! My wife and I were heading home to Dayton from Indianapolis, and did a quick search for ice cream along the way. This is an incredibly cute little ice cream parlor located in an odd little part of historic Richmond. When we walked in the front door, the smell of freshly made waffle cones hit us. I got the Black Cherry ice cream, and my wife got the Raspberry Sherbet. These homemade ice creams were amazing, but the bonus was the waffle cones. Such wonderful flavor!
