Firehouse Subs

Visiting VA and my daughter told me to try this place because their sandwiches are good. I let them know that this was my first time here so they were very patient with me. Even got a tip of what all came on the sandwich which made my life a little easier. Now this place is nooooooo subway!!!! They give 2 choices of bread wheat or white. The bread is much slimmer than what subway uses but I prefer thinner. I also love that the meat is heated. I'm sure you can probably ask not to heat it though but I'm not sure . I ordered the Italian combo with additional banana peppers and the Cajun chicken sub as well as the potato soup. Everything was sooo fresh and delicious and made perfectly!! We definitely need a Firehouse Sub in Connecticut!!!! I would prefer them over Subway any day!!!!

My fiance stopped in here today for us for subs, I had to come leave a review for my sub, not only was it a perfect meatball sub but perfectly made exactly as asked, lil sauce lil cheese toasted good, cooked perfectly and by far was this best meatball sub I've ever had in the 12 years living down here in Virginia, being from Boston!!! Kudos! Loved it!!!

This location is Amazing. I spoke with Dave and needed help with planning food for a funeral that was taking place within 48hrs. I live out of town and this was the location closest to my family's home. Although this location does not deliver the manager went over and above and personally delivered everything we needed for 30 people. It was so great to see such amazing customer service and compassion. My family is very grateful and thank's Dave and his team. The Clark Family

Great tasting subs. 3 sizes. They offer recommended toppings for their sandwiches, but I'm certain you can have it your way. I had a medium spicey chicken on wheat. It was on special for only $6. I would say the medium is 8 inches. It was really great tasting. It had just enuff zing. The bread was soft even though fresh toasted. There are just a few small tables for eat in.
