F.w. Sullivan's

VCU college bar with a good mix of post college guests. Beer selection is ok not great, but the prices are pretty great. The food is standard bar fare but is good enough and cheap enough. There are multiple TV's for whatever game you want to watch. Sometime there is a DJ or a band, either one is standard bar performance. Some of the bartenders are on point I've only had one that wasn't all that great, but his saving grace was he didn't charge me for two of my beers.

Started and ended my night here. Walked in not assuming much. Had a small selection of craft and local beers. Bartender was knowledgeable of all they had to offer. A group next to me ordered dinner and it looked amazing. As the night went on, more and more people showed up. The bar was very generous with their pours (at one point 4 shots of Jaegermeister were ordered and served in a 3-4oz pour). Prices on drinks were amazing, but the music could have been a little louder. I could still hear the person next to me (/sarcasm). They clear out all chairs and tables to make room for more people, which although is inconvenient, is understandable when you're a business owner. A great place and I'll definitely be coming back on my next trip.
