Fallout

I've only been here twice, both times good, but this time especially. I had been having a great time in a cute outfit when a drunk dude at the bar decided he needed to be all up on me saying nasty things in my ear and I was trying to be polite, close my tab and just get out because I didn't know him and he was making me feel unsafe. The bartender turned around, saw him pressed against me, saw I was uncomfortable, and IMMEDIATELY called him out. I didn't even have to say anything. Just one second of eye contact and she was there to help. She didn't back down until he left me alone and once he backed off, she asked if I was ok, if she wanted her to kick him out, and if I wanted someone to walk me to my car and I felt protected. I was so nervous and shaken that I felt almost frozen, but in those moments, I felt safe. I can not thank her enough.

Excellent bar/club for everything gothy, kinky, and weird (in a good way) that you won’t find anywhere else in Richmond, or Virginia for that matter. They have frequent events that appeal to a wide range of subcultures and the vibes have been consistently good across the board every time I’ve been. They’re LGBTQ friendly which is, of course, a huge plus.

Just wanted to follow up on the previous review regarding smoking: The venue is CURRENTLY NON-SMOKING & has been since last year. Not sure yet it this policy will become permanent but I wanted to make sure (as some who is working with this venue) this was clear so that it wouldn't keep anyone from checking things out unnecessarily. Smoking currently takes place outside the front on the venue within the stanchions. Hope this helps with clarity for some folks!
