Marshall Street Cafe

Awesome coffee latte, the best I tried in Hamburg so far (I had it in 5 or 6 places). Very good breakfast, portion is generous and food is delicious. We liked the croissant with salmon and Turkish eggs the most. Book a table in advance, even for breakfast- the place is nice and therefore gets very busy. And I definitely want recommend it!

AMAZING brunch. My friend and I had an avocado toast and a lox toast (both were loaded and so, so yummy), as well as pancakes. The presentation alone is FABULOUS. The flavors are fantastic. My friend got a mint tea with ACTUAL mint leaves in it. Service is laid back and friendly. I highly recommend making a reservation as the place is rather small and fills up fast. (And there always seems to be a line outside the door.) Highly recommend this place!!

The restaurant is very nice, well decorated and very cozy. Its minimalistic design makes it quite special in heart of Hamburg. The staffs were very nice and friendly. They all speaks very good English for those who might be interested to know it before going there. The food was great, well garnished and yummy. However, I have three notes: 1) Brioche bread in egg bunny was very sweet which came as a surprised. I would have not ordered it if I know it was the case! 2) the portions were small 3) considering the portions the dishes were expensive! The coffee in this place was great :) i would definitely get back there :)

We ordered French toast and vegan tomato humus bread. Both of them were a taste I will never forget in my life😁 the bread was so good (especially French toast was amazing)... Very cosy environment was very cosy, the service was one of the fastest. But before you go there you should make reservation especially for Sunday breakfast. They have places inside and the outside. For rainy days, I do not recommend to go there if you do not have a reservation for inside.

We really enjoyed having breakfast at Marshall Street Coffee. The café has a lovely scandi-like interior and the staff is just great. All of the staff was so welcoming and the service overall was really great. The food speaks for itself, starting with the presentation and ending with the taste a solid 10/10.

My boyfriend and I happened upon this Cafe on sunny, non- rainy day last November, 2022. We didn't have a reservation, but we asked if we could then just get a coffee to go. While waiting to order, the table near us offered us their seats, ( they were done eating) and so we were able to take the free table. They serve perfect poached eggs with Avocado and as well an incredible eggs Benedict. ( see picture). Excellent service, great coffee and all from a teeny tiny kitchen just behind the counter. We were so happy with our luck to get a table and be able to have a great breakfast during our weekend outing in Hamburg.
