Mccormack's Whisky Grill

Really nice little spot in the downtown Richmond area. We were a table of 4 adults and 2 kids. Adults all ordered Old Fashions and they were very good. The server was awesome very attentive knowledgeable about bourbons and suggested some for us. I had the smoked duck with grits and it was smoked perfectly. Wife had the hot honey fried chicken and she said it was great. The smoked baby back ribs were also ordered and enjoyed. This would be a five star review if they would have had everything on the menu. They were out of cheese so we could not try the Mac and Cheese which we had heard great reviews about. Because of the cheese being out of stock there were a couple dishes we could not try. Other that that overall great experience will definitely be back!

Fantastic restaurant and bar. This place is for the whiskey amateur all the way to the enthusiast. We (as a group of all women) couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We tried some bucket list whiskeys and tried some suggestions from the staff that were on point. Fantastic owner and staff. The food was impeccable from BBQ to the salad. We will be back as soon as possible. We will be bringing our bachelorette here without a doubt.

I love going to McCormack Whiskey Grill every time I visit Richmond. From the moment I walk in, I feel the great atmosphere. Nostalgic neighborhood bar. The whiskey selection is impressive, catering to both connoisseurs and rookies. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu offers a fantastic array of dishes, and I was particularly impressed by the flavorful whiskey-infused sauces that complemented many of the dishes. The whiskey-glazed ribs were a highlight – tender and bursting with smoky, sweet flavors. The staff were not only knowledgeable about their extensive whiskey collection but also attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Whether you're a whiskey enthusiast or simply looking for a delightful dining experience, McCormack Whiskey Grill is a must-visit in Richmond. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of their delectable offerings.

YESSS this place was AWESOME! Super cozy and comfortable interior with warm lighting and western film posters on the walls. Our server was super nice and told us about some cool exhibits in the museum of fine arts nearby. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious--sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and not too sweet, the burger was juicy and packed with flavor. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a bite to eat around here!
