I always enjoy taking a break here. The coffee is excellent, the food quality is very good for a cafeteria but it is the ability to just sit and think or talk with friends about the art you have just enjoyed.

This is a great cafe to stop and take a rest from touring the museum, or even just enjoying a meal or snack or coffee in an unusual setting. The desserts in particular are to die for...I sometimes go in just for coffee and a cookie.

Located in the Virgina Museum of Fine Arts on the first floor. They serve quick bites and order to check out is reasonably quick.
Pizza, deli sandwiches and cold salads are your primary choices. Prices are reasonable (considering choices are limited at the museum) and food quality is good.
