Carini's Italian Restaurant & Pizza

I love this place!! I could be considered a regular, I dine in & carry out .All the workers have excellent customer service, I love the food & atmosphere. Thanks Maria, she knows me by name & we have a pleasant exchange every time I come in. There's something special about it being family owned & not a big chain.

Been loving this restaurant for many years. Always good food, service and prices. Never have had a bad meal here. Their pasta dishes are awesome. The sauce is so good. Always more than I can eat. Got stuffed shells with tomato sauce, no meat. Was excellent. The spaghetti is so good I usually get that but tried something different. Bread is good. I haven't had better Italian food anywhere else in Richmond that's as good as Carini's. June 20, 2021 Excellent! Delicious food and great service (Bernard very good server.) Been a while since we dined here. Still outstanding restaurant. Recommend December 2022 - Always delicious food and good service. Prices reasonable. Food and bread basket served hot. Love this restaurant. Highly recommend February 2023 - Great food. Excellent service. Still 5 stars. Highly recommend June 2023 - Excellent as always. Not crowded at 5 PM. Fast, friendly service. Food delicious. Consistently good. Highly recommend. September 2023 - Good experience and meals. I would have liked a bit more sauce on the spaghetti but more than I could eat in one meal. Leftovers for lunch. Still delicious. Fast, friendly service.

We've celebrated countless Birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions here, as it's been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid. I've yet to find a dish that wasn't delectable, with each one being plentiful and endlessly appetizing. My favorite probably being just the good ol' Spaghetti and Meatballs. SIMPLE? Yes. SIMPLY AMAZING! The staff are always friendly, attentive and accommodating. Maria (manager) is very personable and always makes us feel right at home and in good hands. Whether it's pickup, a romantic dinner for two or a family reunion in the banquet room (and air hockey tournament afterwards) they got ya covered. I've always said that if I were to ever open my own restaurant, I would strive to be like Carini's.
