We were immensely lucky to have ended up here, as our initial restaurant that we wanted to go to turned out to be closed for lunch. We spent two hours here while we were excellently served (always a fresh glass with new ice and lemons) by the friendly hostess and fed like kings by the owner and chef. We were first hesitant as there were no kids options on the menu, but the chef was so friendly and enthusiastic and promised us tasty food and he’d make something special for the kids (they are picky, yes we failed in this department ;-) ) that we gave this place a shot. And did he deliver! I was feeling adventurous and went with the chef’s special of seafood casserole, my husband was swayed by the promise of a biiiig piece of meat and chhose the t-bone steak. The seafood was perfectly cooked, the fish without a bone and the taste of the casserole fresh, interesting, full of flavor, yet keeping the delicate flavors of the prawns, clams and mussles and the fish and all around perfect. My husband was just as happy with his t-bone steak, cooked medium rare just as we asked. The side dishes were, finally after all the quite disappointing touristfood that is usually served, also tasty. And just look at the size of our dishes. It might be a bit pricier than the usual pizzas and burgers, but come on, we’re on holiday, in Spain, on an island surrounded by ocean and everything it has to offer, treat your tastebuds for a change. Even though we’re staying in a Playa Blanca (30’ drive) we’ll make sure to come back this week and hope to have some space left for desserts next time.

Excellent food, gourmet level. Good price value for the superb quality of the food and great service. The recommendations we were given were great. The mango, avocado and salmon tartar was great, and the sauce reductions it came with amazing. The meat was also excellent. Will be back!

We ate lunch with two kids and everything was excellent, personal and friendly. I ordered a T-Bone steak and my wife had a seafood special. Both were made fresh and in canary style. The sides deserve a mention of their own. The chef made a honey rum reduction which he put on the salad and it was a perfect fit. The mashed potates are actually two portions, one with sweet potatoes and a regular one. There’s nothing mentioned about food for kids, but he promised he cooked whatever they wanted, so they got their spaghetti with chicken nuggets. Which they liked a lot. I recommend to eat there, it’s a different experience then all the standard pizza/steak places that you found in these tourist areas and for me and my family it was well worth the time and price.

Great food here. The Duck is really good and I also tested the rum chicken. Lot better seasoning than other Canarian restaurants. You can discuss different tastes directly with the chef which was positive. The prices were ok as well and the waiter kind an generous and could even speak Swedish 😀👍👍

If you want to opt out from standard tourist traps, you will find that this is one of the few places that sticks out from the long lines of restaurants lined up left and right pretty much with the same menus and touristy food. This place is a great chef owned little tapas resto where everything you eat will be freshly made by the chef himself. Located in a little courtyard you can escape from the busy, noisy promenade and have a delicious, fresh meal and good service.
