Been coming to PDC for years and this is our first visit to Blair s... Will not be our last.
Our breakfast was amazing..
Ingredients were top notch.. Did not have the tattie scone because I wanted Scottish one... To my surprise they had McGhees tattie scone....... Cannot wait till we have dinner in this wee Hidden gem of a place...
This is a fantastic restaurant. Excellent food, first class service. Warm friendly atmosphere run and owned by mine host Keith Rankin. Home made steak pie is the real thing, delicious, not 4 lumps of stew and a puff pastry lid. Home made lasagna, superb and excellent steaks. His home made vanilla toffee cheesecake is the best ever. We took our friends here the other night and they loved it. Will certainly be back.
Most amazing, cooked to order grilled breakfast! Stornoway black pudding & tatties scones. Can't rate this place highly enough for anyone looking for the perfect breakfast! Brilliant find and will be back 😋
The food here is brilliant, always seem to hit portion sizes right on the head. Waitresses are attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is beautiful, such a shame it is out of the way of the main strip because everybody needs to come here and enjoy this wonderful eating experience
The best steak I have had... ever.... all over the world. Juicy. Cooked just right and the haggis with it........ oh my god.... match made in heaven. Well recommended. One man band with regard to cooking... but all very personal. Cooked how you want it. Will tell you if long wait. Cooked fresh & amazing. Going to be eating there at least twice more before holiday is up.
Waitress down to earth & honest. Again, will tell you if you are going to wait. Very homely & efficient.
Food amazing
Pretty good food, very reasonable prices. Not loads of Gluten free option. Obviously the normal stuff eggs bacon an so on. But no bread or sausages. Also not sure if people under stand the cross contamination, so can't be cooked on same grill or pan or oil. I appreciate for most this is not an issue. But if you have coeliac disease as my wife and son do it's really important as will make them I'll for several days. But this not a complaint, just info.
What a great breakfast! We visited because of other reviews of their breakfast. I totally agree with others, they are very good. The quality of the food is outstanding - not like the cheap food you get served on the front shoreline. Highly recommend this place
Superb breakfast,friendly staff,a must if you are in Puerto del Carmen.
Superb steak medallions and salmon fillet highlights of a brilliant evening. Excellent friendly service with a good sense of humour from chef and server. A must go to for quality food.
Could not fault the fillet steak meal and the steak pie was very good except for a personal preference for puff pastry whereas Blair's served shortcrust. Due to a cold night outside the restaurant felt cold and other clientele nearest the door kept their jackets on throughout their meal. It was a pity the staff did not think to close the door over a wee bit. This is a quaint restaurant and reasonably priced with very friendly staff
