Great Bakery plus so much more. They create yummy lunches! So creative with their variety. Love their breakfast wraps and there gooy cinnamon rolls are to die for!! Love everything they make.. oh and the most amazing people work there and own it. Thank you Ceres Street Bakery!

This place was the BEST little cafe! We were so lucky to stumble across it. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was so fun and the prices were great. It felt like I was in Europe.
The workers were friendly and nice.
We got the egg sandwiches, which were perfect for breakfast and delicious.
We got a blackberry cardamon muffin and a raspberry rhubarb tart to go. We took them out to the water to enjoy 😁
I would HIGHLY recommend Ceres Bakery and we will definitely go back next time we are in the area!

THE best bakery in the Seacoast area. Always friendly and always fresh and tasty! Their Chocolate Chunk cake has been the "Birthday Cake of choice" for over 25 years. A true Portsmouth landmark and an excellent representation of what a bakery/food establishment should aspire to!

Super cute place! We had a blueberry/mango scone and a blueberry muffin. They were preparing fresh bread in the kitchen while we had our breakfast. Would definitely recommend the scone!

Amazing neighborhood bakery with delicious food and lovely staff.
Only downside: it took me 5 months to discover after relocating to Portsmouth...

We moved to Portsmouth recently from NYC and our first stop was Ceres Bakery at the recommendation of my friend who grew up in Kittery. I'm really picky when it comes to coffee and have switched from my local Brooklyn brand to the Ceres Bakery blend. It's delicious and I make sure to take some beans back to NYC whenever we go back. The baked goods are, of course, amazing (especially the lemon cookies). I also love the historic vibe of the bakery itself and it always feels good to know you're stepping into a bit of history when you pay a visit. The locals know of this place well but if you're from out of town, make sure you pay a visit for a coffee and a treat.
