They currently have an up to 70% sale of selected lines. I have been looking for nice and good fitting casual trousers. It is usually a nightmare for me. But having not visited them in years... they had just the variety. And in some surprising colours...

Everyone I saw was wearing a mask so I felt really safe.
They( Maine) have a sale on and I managed to find two pairs of shorts with 50% off, what a bargain.
The changing rooms are closed but the assistant sales lady said I could return them if they didn't fit.
Perfect fit so I'm still have a 32inch waist which is good news.

I can only write about the café. The café is comfy, and friendly despite it's vaguely intimidating size. Whilst it is more of canteen, I can definitively say that the tea is very good. The service is quick and the staff are friendly and organised. An all round great place for a midmorning break!

I should have taken a picture pre-ingestion but too nice to allow to go cold. The hot drink and cake offer is good offer. Clean shop and very welcoming staff! Restaurant upstairs is well worth a visit!

I didn't! I did not rate it 5 stars. The staff are great and extremely long suffering. My visit was unpleasant because it was exceedingly hot and airless. I felt so sorry for the staff having to work in such an unhealthy environment, breathing in stale air in what I'm guessing is an illegal temperature. I think management should at least have put some fans in or provided water fountains for staff and customers. Poor care of your work force.

Excellent Service. Support and the shop assistants in the beauty department couldn't be more helpful. They gave their undivided help and support which was over and above their call of duty to make us very happy and contented customers.

I visited the restaurant of this lovely department store today & really enjoyed a cup of coffee & slice of cake, which got totally ruined when a lady decided to sit right next to me hurling an enormous amount of verbal abuse due to me texting my sick Husband in hospital whilst the staff did nothing to assist me!

We went to the restaurant. I took my Mum in her wheelchair and it was easy to get her in as it's fairly spacious. We both enjoyed our meals, fish and chips, and 3 bean chilli. Reasonable price and good friendly service

Great sized store that has most things you could want. Certainly one of the better stores still open on commercial Road.
The inside can be a little bit of a maze at times but you quickly find where you need to go. Decor could also do with an update but that come from being in such an old building.
Staff have always been really helpful and pleasant whenever I've been in there. I've always had a good shopping experience there

Went in to use the mac counter. They were all checking if we needed help. I didn't, I just wanted a new painterly paint pot. So asked the manager and she got me one straight away 😁
