Lovely pub over looking lock lake with plenty of outside seating. The food is good and the roast dinner is yummy and the vegetables aren’t cooked from frozen. The apple crumble is very good. You can order from your table via the app. Pet friendly with ice cream for dogs in the summer.

Lovely pub experience and traditional British fare. The food was very good and served piping hot. Service from the staff, including their food recommendations, was excellent. We visited while in holiday and were welcomed like locals. Highly recommend for a good meal or just a pint with friends.

They had nice specials. I had the Pulled Beef Rib and Beer Croquettes for a starter. It had a delicious red pepper sauce. It was raining when I was there, but it would be a nice place to visit if the sun was shining as there are tables outside.

Had the lunchtime menu..1 main and a pudding for £10..cannot complain..the salt and pepper squid was lovely...very light batter..

Visited Thatched House recently for lunch with my young son. As we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. The atmosphere was friendly and as my son loves dogs he was very happy to see a few who were with other guests …

The staff are really helpful and friendly.they made all 3 of us myself missis and our dog really welcome. The food was great the service was great. Our dog loved the doggy ice cream. We took part in the pub quiz great fun and a good evening great atmosphere. We will be there again in near future. X
