Maharaja Palace

Samosa were absolutely tasty and would order them every time. The main dishes were alright, however we asked for spicy and did not get that. In addition we our order of naan bread wrong. Did not matter to much but just a shame to not get the right one. Its usually has a Bollywood movies or music videos near that bar, which is fun if you are facing that way. Seating is comfortable!

Das Restaurant ist etwas versteckt und zwar im 2. Stock, hinter einem anderen Restaurant. Treppe hoch, rechts und gleich durch das 1. Restaurant durchlaufen und dahinter befindet sich der Inder. Das Essen kam super schnell. Ich hatte Chicken Tikka Marsala, das war auch lecker und hat 10,50€ gekostet, was finde ich ein fairer Preis ist. Dazu ein Käsenaan für ca. 3€. Die Portion war nicht riesig, aber man ist satt geworden. Ich werde wieder hin gehen und weitere Gerichte ausprobieren.

Absolutely fabulous meal tonight. Service and food both exceptional. Asha, especially, was full of smiles. Couldn't have been more accommodating. Organised us a large table for 6 (which grew to 8, just to fit all the different dishes we ordered) at the back so we could overlook the hustle and bustle of Yumbo Centre. All our meals were excellent. Obviously freshly prepared with skill, expertise and care. Will return here again before we fly back to England, with a kidnapped Asha, who we will promptly install in our local curry house.

Food was delicious and very affordable (around 16€ for a menu with starter, main dish and drink) but bare in mind to not order the wine. While the food was very good the wine was HORRENDOUS. I gave them the tip, hopefully they will chance it soon, but both the rose and the white were one of the worst wines I’ve drank (and the teenage me knew a range if cheap bad wines). Other than that, service is lovely and again, food is fine. I’m coming back, but ordering canned beverages.

Absolutely outstanding food, cooked to perfection. Extremely friendly staff and definitely will be on the "must do" list for many years to come. It's the first time I've been and I'm extremely pleased with everything - not only that but they've got lassi too! Their menu may seem a bit daunting to start with, but chat to them and they'll explain what's most like your favourite curry from home.
