The mole here is amazing. On anything you get it. The red, green or black. my favorite is the table side guacamole and the tree moles steak with vegetables. Always intense authentic flavors. Great for any special occasion or when you want something really authentic.

Very intimate and beautiful restaurant. We had the tasting menu(very reasonably priced) and it did not disappoint. Each dish that came out was elegantly displayed and wonderfully tasteful. I love Chefs Silvana Salcido Esparza twist on food. Absolutely love Barrio Cafe and will definitely recommend Barrio Café Gran Reserva. Of course the lively art work on the walls tell a story and is a must see.

A must dine venue. This restaurant offers Mexican food like you've never tasted. It is a far cry from the usual fare offered by the chains that lead one to believe their food is authentic Mexican. To delight your palette, make a reservation & enjoy all the wonderful flavors to be tasted. The desserts are fabulous & the service is excellent

Top Notch! From the hand-made guacamole made table-side, to the rib eye, shrimp enchiladas, mole ahumanpdo, and Hojandre for our entrees, everything was so delicious, and our server, Phillip, made sure we had everything we needed. Great food, comparable to the finest restaurants in Mexico City or Baja. The tasting menus were great and the wine pairings delightful. Service was enthusiastic if a little amateur (more training needed) and the decor is very pleasant. Highly recommended if you enjoy or want to try authentic modern Mexican cuisine It was a memorable evening and we will definitely be back!

Place was small but the staff got us in without a reservation but we had to sit at the bar. This turned out to be a great seat to see the action and chat with the bartender. This made for a great experience. Add the amazing food and it was a great night..make no mistake, this isnt your basic mexican food. This is truly great food that is on another level and the care and prep that go into this food was evident seeing it up close. Highly recommend!

We recently had my sister's wedding reception here and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was exquisite with each course better than the last. The staff and the cooks were amazing to all of the guests. The service was superlative. The friendliness and warmth of the people made a great experience even better! We can't wait to go back and visit!
