I had a spicy pork dish and it was honestly one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. I would 100% recommend. My friends all got the individual hot pots and they also really enjoyed their meals.

I've gone to many soft tofu restaurants and this place is so far the best! This was my favorite place since I was a kid. The texture of rice is amazing, and portion size is great. They check up on your table often if you need refills on side dishes. Very authentic. Not only the soft tofu, but the taste of every food is very deep and you can tell that they are very professional with food.

Friendly service, all the food used fresh, high quality ingredients, and prices were very reasonable. We were especially excited that my dad who has health issues could get a delicious meal with no meat or oil. Will definitely go there again!

This has been my favorite restaurant of all time for YEARS. Continues to be my favorite place. Amazing food and atmosphere. Superb staff. My personal favorite dish is their tofu mushroom soup! Their array of free appetizers are also something I always look forward to. This place is an absolute hidden gem. Cannot recommend it enough.

This place. Still kicking down hunger in the very best way. IMHO an essential leg of the northeast trifecta: Chung Dam, Hmart and Soft tofu house. Fantastic way to spend a day. Food is hearty and filling. Service is friendly. Honestly one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. For my vegan/vegetarian friends: Try the dry tofu, scallion pancakes, bimbap, japchae, soft tofu soup with vegetables 😊 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

maybe a bit more expensive than usual prices but the food is bomb. I love the soon dubu and the japchae. I will say that the banchan can be very vinegary but I came for the main meals do I didn't mind

After a long absence since 2015, I recently revisited this Korean restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to find that it has retained its original charm and cleanliness. As I entered through the side door from the parking lot, I was greeted by various artifacts reminiscent of the Joseon era, adding an authentic touch to the ambiance. Interestingly, they still have a payphone on the wall near the bathroom, which brought back nostalgic memories. The food itself was fantastic, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I opted for the oyster tofu soup with a mild spice level, but it turned out to be quite mild indeed. If you prefer spicier fare, I recommend ordering it at a medium level of spiciness. Additionally, I ordered the stir-fried squid, which was a delightful combination of sweetness and tanginess. The galbi also had a subtle hint of sweetness, enhancing its overall flavor. This place certainly possesses a character of its own, with its distinctive decor, unique culinary offerings, and charming seating benches. I was impressed by the overall ambiance and felt that it truly stood out from other restaurants. I am looking forward to returning in the future and will certainly recommend this place to others who seek a memorable dining experience.

My husband and I are never disappointed with their food nor services. Our last visit we dine in for our lunch, surprisingly it was empty around 1pm. I thought I forgot to update myself on their business hours. The waiter remembered us and quickly assisted us to a table. Food came out quick and delicious. We ordered their pancake, oyster soft tofu soup, and a bulgogi rice. No complaints. Definitely will return again, especially this is where my husband and I ate dinner on our first date.

This was a totally surprised visit We did not expect the grandeur of this restaurant. The outside was so unassumings. The interior decor was very Korean by design. The restraint was clean and quiet. The food was exceptional as reviewed by others. We plan to bring our family here
