Very helpful staff willing to explain how they make the food and what’s in it. They’re making this food from scratch so everything came out amazing. The omelette blew my mind because I had essentially given up on a decent vegan breakfast outside of waffles and tofu scramble. The tempeh bacon was seasoned perfectly. There’s something for everyone here.

I had to wait about 10 minutes to order takeout & 15 minutes to prepare the meal, but it was absolutely worth it! The most delicious breakfast burrito, home fries, and pumpkin spice latte!

Popped in here by chance after our 20 hour delay at the airport.
Some of the best chocolate pancakes you’ll find. Even considered the 10 hour flight to visit again.

I had high expectations for The Tasty, as it was rated the #1 place for plant-based finds in Philly by VegNews. The blueberry pancakes lived up to the diner's name and were the highlight of my meal. While the chicken cheesesteak was decent, I was disappointed with the Caesar salad; the dressing was too watery. If I go again, I'll try more from the breakfast menu.

The food is really good and lives up to the name The Tasty. The limited hours and the long waits on the weekend are a real pain, so I recommend you arrive before 11:30 to avoid standing outside in the cold for 30+ min. It was worth it though. The donuts were outstanding. The breakfast burrito was amazing. The chicken cheesesteak was so-so, skip it. The tots and chicken nuggets were really yummy and crispy. I would return here and be sure to arrive bright and early. They do have indoor dining but the entrance is not wheelchair accessible (disappointing). Very LGBTQ friendly.

Words cannot express how AMAZING this establishment is!! From the greeter of the staff member using my name when answering (caller ID) to helping me decide the best dishes, since we were new to the area- to the curb side delivery, since I had a small child in the car and parking was not available in close proximity. We ate here two days in a row and really hope to make today a third day.
