Kinme Sushi

good food and good service! we only got the shrimp tempura roll and california roll, but both were yummy :D our waitress was very nice and they were giving complimentary mango martinis as well, which were delicious (u can get it virgin too). very cozy little space perfect for catching up w a friend or a small birthday, v good vibes :)

I had an incredible dining experience at Kinme, the BYOB Japanese sushi spot! The Phantom Roll and South Pacific Roll were absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor and creativity. The Peach Tea was a delightful surprise, truly phenomenal. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance made it a perfect evening. I can't wait to return for more! Highly recommended!

Not sure how I haven’t reviewed this place yet! I’ve gotten takeout twice and dined in twice and each time it’s been 10/10. It’s about a 5 min walk from my apartment and I love that it’s a casual neighborhood joint with top quality sushi offerings. I’m so glad I discovered it and I’ve also recommended it to friends and family. My dad loved it the one time I brought him too. Can’t wait for my next visit!

I had the miso salmon roll and the yuzu lobster roll. Both were really good. My boyfriend got the Incredible Hulk roll and the Kinme fried rice with steak. The fried rice was really good because it had Chinese sausage, which is a flavor booster. This place is a BYOB but they also had their own tea and soft drinks. They give you a little bit of ice cream if you pay with Venmo or cash. 😀

I cannot take a star off because the flavors and textures were balanced and unique, and very importantly, the fish was incredibly fresh and clean tasting, but I will mention that there wasn't enough flavor, and the prices were steep. BUT if you're in the Jefferson station area, this is 100% where I would go for sushi again. The ambiance is upscale, you have lots of options, and everything was tasty (just nothing knocked my socks off flavor-wise).

Awesome sushi, service and vibe! I was there with a friend and had some tea and sushi. Fish is fresh and vinegar rice is nicely made. The best part is the lady is super sweet and talkative. We had a great talk! They are now having live music on Monday. So if you are looking for a shill wind-down Monday dinner, you must visit!

Had a very good experience here. The quality was amazing, the salmon nigiri is so far the best I’ve had in Philly. We got the lunch special, which was reasonably priced for the quality. My mom is a vegetarian and is usually stuck ordering the same few rolls (avocado, sweet potato, cucumber….) but she was VERY excited to be presented with some new options that she doesn’t see often. She got the peanut avocado and asparagus tempura roll, and she and I shared the shiso ume cucumber roll (Pictured on the left.) We loved all three, although if you aren’t a cilantro fan beware ordering the shiso ume cucumber! While we both thought it was delicious, my sister thought it tasted similar to cilantro. 😋

Such an underrated casual sushi spot!! It’s BYOB and has fresh fish! Impress your date by bringing them here for quality (and reasonably priced) sushi. The people here are also super nice. Been here twice now and tried a bunch of their rolls, including their special - crown salmon roll, and nirigis. Delicious and easy to walk in for a spot! If you’re lucky, maybe they’ll have some homemade desserts to wrap up your meal :)
