Not sure if I already left La Chingonita a review, but if I did they totally deserve a second one. I always order takeout and delivery here. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. With affordable prices. Their birria is so SO good.

GaaaaaaaahT DANG!!!! M! M! M! mm! Man look, I don’t know what she’s doin’ back there in that kitchen, but the steak tacos were SCRUMPTIOUS M’ BOY! The refried beans were flavorful with a great consistency, and everything tasted fresh. I just know she’s back there mashing those beans herself, I just know it!

Burrito needs to be taken Off the menu.
Steak tacos are Great and authentic. Tecate’ style
there was less meat in the burrito than 1 of 3 taco.

The place is very cute and clean. The service & staff were very friendly. We had the classic steak tacos and specialty shrimp tacos. Both VERY delicious. The steak was seasoned perfectly and came with 2 salsas to help lubricate the taco. The shrimp was delicious every bite! Portions were perfect, not too full or needing more afterwards. We will be recommending to others. If you’re reading this, you should def give them a try! Biking or walking would be easiest to get here.

I'm from Arizona and am notoriously picky about Mexican food. This place is reliable for those in Philly who don't want to be disappointed. I recommend to order a little in advance as they can get kind of busy at times.

Food is phenomenal, i brought some out of state colleagues in but i wish they had some sort of outdoor seating! Nice people, and truly amazing food.
