It's an Eagles football bar. Food decent, service was ok. On street parking can be a problem. Swoop, the Eagles mascot was entertaining the room.

A Fairmount staple. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered on their menu over the past 3 years of being a regular. Their brunch menu, specialty cocktails, and beer selection are all great. Urban Saloon is also a great spot to watch an Eagles game as they have a dj set up to keep things lively during commercials - I just recommends getting there very early on games days if you want a seat!

Came here years ago for blue cheese buttered steak. Returned yesterday for the same thing. Food was on point but we cut our visit short when a mouse ran at us lol idk if it was from inside or I f it ran in from outside since it's so cold out but I wasn't asking Mickey any questions n was outta there. Staff was cool food was on point but the mouse creeped me out

Visited Urban Saloon for their touted Chicken and Waffles and to try the Watermelon Margaritas. The food did not disappoint on flavor, but the sauce choice was a misstep – it clashed rather than complemented, something better served on the side. A request for syrup was necessary to round out the dish. The margaritas, however, were a refreshing triumph, balancing sweet and tart perfectly. Service was prompt, yet having to ask for what should be a waffle accompaniment standard was a slight letdown. Did even take puctures of the food which is unusual for me lol. Great potential with a tweak or two!

By far handsdown USA best chicken and waffels I have ever had in my entire life! We be back! Chicken was sweet but spicy (not overly) moist and flavorful while accompanied by 2 drippy eggs and the sauce tied it all together. Round of applause to the chef and team for this meal. 👏

Still in Fairmont! Stopped at the Urban Saloon for a drink. Loud, energetic and fun! The music adds much depth to the experience The place is packed and the drinks are flowing. A must stop in the area.

I was recommended this place by a friend because i said i was going to Eastern State. I was so happy with the location, the convenience, and food menu. Our experience was good for a friday, especially considering the traction of this place and the Eastern State Penitentiary. I will say our service lacked. It took a good long while to even get drinks or food, so we put them all together. We got our food and waited longer for another round and the bill. Then we got the bill before the drinks (2nd round). Overall still really enjoyable and a cute place. I will definitely come back, maybe on a different night that’s less busy so i can enjoy ever aspect about the establishment.

Absolutely delicious food and beer. Waitress was super friendly and fun. Obviously one of the few hang outs for 20 something year olds. Insanely busy, but there was a game on at the time.

Vegetarian perspective
Honestly....despite being a sports bar/college bar feeling place, it's a go-to for me. There's always a seat available and the menu has plenty of vegetarian options. Service is always great. Outdoor seating in nice weather. I just avoid it on Philly sports game days.

The atmosphere of this little place was definitely a favorite. The workers were so sweet and the drinks and appetizers were even better. All we got were the pretzels but it was good enough to make me wanna come back and try more. You will definitely see me again.
