Very rich apple flavour! Perfectly balance of sweet and tart. Much better than a lot of the apple pies and tarts I've had in other famous bakeries with thousands of reviews.

Very friendly! The baked goods smelled so good I had to stop by and it was well worth the stop! Small place with big outcomes, everything tasted very well! Would definitely return again for large party orders or even quick snack stops.

The flourless chocolate tarts and lemon bars are dreamy. Not your average local pastry, as it is slightly more expensive for a reason - authentic and fantastique!

I'm not a big fan or tart person (more a croissant person), BUT this tart is the BEST tart I've ever had in Philly (and my life)!!! This is how their tarts are good
Food: the crust is so perfectly balanced between buttery crumbled & moist. Filling was so fresh that they definitely used the fresh peach. I was so impressed that they sweetened it on point that I can give them the perfect complement an Asian could say to a dessert: "It's not that sweet!" I'm 3000% sure will be back to here to try out their every single tart they bake!!
Service: the front cashier lady was really nice to explain the flavors for a first timer like me :)
Vibes: this is a dessert shop that you can't sit down/dine-in, it's a grab-go & enjoying your sweets at home/park for picnic events!

Not expected this small pastry but I just encountered it while I was wandering around the area.
It has several options for Tarte. Most of those flavors come with two sizes. I always choose the small size so that I can try more flavor.
It is a order and pick-up pastry, so no place to sit down but you have to take the pastry with you, which is not a big deal.
Purchase under $10 must be paid in cash.

Can’t believe I never tried this place before. Had heard such good things and then stumbled upon it while in the neighborhood and just HAD to partake. This lemon bar pretty much changed my life. I’m fully addicted now and must go back as soon as possible! The namesake tartes are also wonderful and so adorably tiny!

Lemon bar is fresh juicy cool and smooth...melts on your taste buds!! Crust was just the right medium crunch texture with a butttery flavor to compliment the lemon filling.

Cute, hole in the wall stop for pastries. Their apple raspberry tart was delicious, due in no small part to how great their crust was. Cash only under $10. Great place to grab a sweet snack during our walk of Old City.

Small place to get big flavors. Tartes is a tiny gem that has pastry, brownies, baked goods, and more. Try this place! Make it one of your weekly stops if you're a local. The delightful morsels here are worth a trip.

Always amazing. Haven’t been in over a year, and was so happy to see the shop open today! Cookies and brownies are fabulous, tarts are fantastic. The mini pear and pistachio was pure heaven.
