The food here was really good. Portion sizes are pretty big, a lot bigger than I expected. Very nice place. Service was a little slow but nothing to be alarmed about. Would come back for sure.

The food was super authentic. The hostess who booked our reservation over the phone was superb. Our server knew the menu well and gave us her favorites as suggestions were also terrific. The kid at the check-in stand whose job is to greet and check guests in was an absolute twerp. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

This place is SUPER cute for a date night or an intimate meal. The Dan Dan is spicier than I'm used to, but so incredibly flavorful. The Brussels Sprouts had bacon in them which was a pretty tasty experience. We didn't get anything that we didn't like. The staff was super nice and funny, and although it was a bit crowded initially, things were pretty spacious upstairs. I really enjoyed my time here as well as the food. Definitely recommend if you don't mind a bit of spice.

came here for dandan noodles. got dandan noodles. happy with the dandan noodles.
also got scallion pancakes 7.5/10. nothing amazing but met expectations.
i LOVED the noodles in the cumin lamb hand-ripped noodles. idk who ripped them but the texture was amazing and it soaked up all the good flavor.. or maybe i just like wide large noodles 🤔
good quality food at a reasonable price and great location. if i move to this area, i would be a regular.

Stopped here for takeout and we enjoyed our selections. We ordered salt n pepper crispy wings, a noodle dish and some spring rolls. Food was flavorful and tasty. Service was fast. Street parking was available.

DanDan is heavenly. Absolutely adore their food for eat-in or takeout. Recommendations : spicy cucumbers, spicy wontons, DanDan noodles (of course), and scallion pancakes!

Amazing happy hour on the first floor! Lots of seating around the bar.
Super friendly staff, fast service, and really delicious food! Rick was very attentive in helping us order each of our choices.
Their slice levels are no joke! But most everything can be ordered with little or no spice.
Highly recommend!!!

Dan Dan Rittenhouse is one of my favorite spots. Their Szechuan Chilli Oil is very delicious. The Szechuan Pot is a lot of food, spicy and amazing. The chilli dumplings and wontons are both excellent. The Spicy Cucumbers are surprisingly, very good. For alcoholic drinks, the Guava Fizz and Phoenix down are very good. A must try if you are in the area and like Szechuan style foods.

Excellent Chinese restaurant in the Rittenhouse area. They have lots of traditional Szechuan dishes which was a delight! I had the Cumin Lamb Noodles. Spiced excellently and a good amount of peppers and noodles! I ordered online, the process was easy and the food was ready on time! Overall a great experience and excellent food!
