5* High Tea ☕️ Always an AMAZING and enjoyable afternoon . Delicious food and bubbly 🥂 throughout. With the most gorgeous atmosphere to take in. The staff are absolutely beautiful and extremely welcoming. They go out there way to give you the very best High Tea experience. The staff was friendly, service was smooth and the food was good. They catered for gluten free vegan very nicely. Excellent sparking wine was served. I like milky tea so it would have been a nice addition to be offered a pot of milk (alternative milk) for the tea, or to have a couple or few teas to pick from. But perhaps that is not how high tea is done. Thank you for a lovely time and I recommend this high tea.

Went to Bar Uma at the Pan Pacific hotel in Perth for high tea this afternoon. As I walked in I was greeted at the door and happy to see the staff pounce on the Covid safe procedures before allowing me through. As I walked up to Bar Uma, live piano music played in the background. The atmosphere was nice but very busy and the lovely staff seemed to struggle through the service. A few more hands needed on deck, but the staff did a great job under pressure. The place was packed, and I mean like sardines, I was shocked just how many beautiful ladies managed to fit in the lovely restaurant! But once service sprang into action, I could see why.... beautiful traditional China, hot tea, lots of absolutely delicious offerings to tempt every taste bud, enough food that we all wondered how we would accomplish this mission, but you just couldn't leave these magic morsels lonely on their plates! No, we helped out by eating every last blissful mouthful! Our party all agreed what a lovely time we had, what good food we ate and that we would return one day. I've got a few pictures for you so you know what to look out for. This would have been a 5 star rating for sure however, my feedback is... remove those silly bands that go around the edges of the tables! My gold chain got caught in the gap, and so did my my gold bracelet, in the same spot! Its actually quite unfortunate that there are crumbs etc in the grooves. These really need to go! It was lucky my friends were able to use a fork to leverage out the chains without breaking them! When I come back and that issue has been addressed, I'm sure it will be 5 stars. Took the grandchildren(14 and 11 years old) out for High Tea as their Christmas present, we usually do this as they love going out to nice restaurants, preferring this to a gift under the tree. We have been doing this for a couple of years. It was just perfect and the food was ample with lovely delicious choices for us all. We all agreed that it was a beautiful afternoon experience. For me, it was exceptional value for money, staff were so friendly and helpful, also enjoyed listening to the pianist in the foyer and conversation was easy with not too much noise. We will be returning again and highly recommend High Tea at the Bar Uma. Great service all round. Thank you for a super time, the grandchildren loved the experience.

I went for a High Tea and it was a great experience. The food was really nice and the service and atmosphere was very good. All the staff was very helpful and the attention was great, including the option to have some extra savoury treats. The piano music on the background was excellent. One of the best High Tea experience!

Went for high tea, had decent expectations as the restaurant next door has excellent standards. Service was slow, but the worst was the food. Presentation was good but food quality atrocious. Only the prawn sandwich was tasty (7/10). The rest of the food varied between overwhelmed by sauce or just plain mediocre and bland. I rate the average quality at about 3/10. Note that some of the more expensive items will be limited to one per person. Would not pay 30pp let alone what they charge, unless your main intention is to swill as much cheap booze as they're willing to serve you.
