Mamma's Bistro

I had bruschetta and calamari. It looked great when it came out. Calamari was okay, the batter too thick and held a lot of oil. Bruschetta mainly had finely diced tasteless tomatoes, miniature springs of basil and occasionally very small crumbling of feta, nice balsamic vinegar and reasonable bread with garlic rub. My friend order a seafood risotto which lacked flavor and basic seasoning with small amount of seafood. Rice not the right consistency. Very disappointing. Pity as I live nearby.

What a hidden gem this place is!! I can seriously recommend the Mamma Burger- best burger i have had in quite a while, super tasty and very filling. Great setting with multiple areas to dine and or drink. Outdoor balcony area, outdoor casual area and indoor has multiple options with regular tables and comfy booths. Compliments to the chef👏

I have never experienced such disgusting customer service. We waited an hour for only half of our meals to come out. When my partner cut into her medium rare steak, it was trying to eat the side salad. Looked like it had been seared on each side and sent out. I took steak back and asked for our money back as we were late for an event (bistro was not even at 1/4 capacity) staff became very rude and hostile. I had to ask repeatedly for a refund. We walked out hungry and had to get dinner later that night. We will never be back and I hope all those who read this reconsider giving these people their business. Look forward to a reply from the owner, without excuses like the rest of the reviews!

Went on a Thursday evening, it is a quiet and cosy place, good for a cheap and nice meal. The pulled pork burger and Hawaiian pizza were very tasteful as expected from a small cafe/restaurant like this. Service was adequate we found our own table and were served promptly. Very reasonably priced. The menus were a bit worn and needed updating, the signage had “home made” however this was scribbled out. If you have access to an entertainment book that will get you %25 off of the bill.
