Mike's Crab House North

Came here Saturday night—it was storming outside so my friends and I didn’t get to sit outside by the water—indoor seating was packed! There’s a chill vibe here. Service was great, our server was so friendly and attentive. Crabs were on point!! We got a dozen large crabs for $85–lots of meat and perfectly seasoned with old bay seasoning. Cocktails were good too—my friends love the Crushes. Will have to come back another time when the weather is nice to experience the outdoor vibe!

First time this past Saturday. I loved it. Can't wait to go back. The atmosphere was clean friendly. The servers were nice they were on their job they make sure we have refills with our drinks, they made sure we had a tray of hot crabs it was a beautiful day there. The price for all-you-can-eat crab was very reasonable. Is definitely a great place to go to eat crabs I love sitting outside it was a beautiful day. The bathrooms were very clean. If you like craps this is the place to go but make sure you get there early. Thanks

We’ve been coming to Mike’s for over 8 years now and by far this season has been the worst that we have experienced. Since they’ve opened back up this season we’ve visited four times and neither time has been satisfying. The service has been terrible to the point of us having to ask for simple things such as utensils, napkins, salt and pepper or our server disappears and does not return for over 20 minutes. We’ve tried going at different times to see if the lack of service equated to the busier times and we’ve found that is not the case. There seems to be a lack of quality control. The last time I ordered the salmon and it was by far the worst I’ve ever had. It had zero taste with no seasoning. I would have sent it back except trying to get our server to be attentive was like trying to get a toddler to sit through a movie without moving or talking. It wasn’t going to happen. The live music is nice, but I expect the experience to run parallel with the food and I’m sorry, it doesn’t. Mike’s has fallen very short this season. We saw it start to happen after they opened back up after COVID and continued to visit thinking they were trying to overcome those challenges, but now two years later and things continue to go downhill. Unfortunately, we won’t be visiting anytime soon and there are other seafood restaurants in the area that we will try over choosing to go back to Mike’s.

I only come here for the crabs, anything beyond that I can't review on. When I say I take close to a 1 1/2 drive for the crabs 🦀, they are so worth it 💯. This was my 4th time there.. so on the Con side, the AYCE started out a little small and once we were seated I had to go & look for someone to take our order. On the Pro side, the crabs ended up TASTY & did increase a little in size near the end and our server ended up being AWESOME & my bill was EXCEPTIONAL for the price I paid 😉

Food was the best I have had there in a long time. Definitely recommend the hush puppies. In fact, the appetizers were the highlight of our food experience this time. Key lime crush and blueberry lemonade crush were FANTASTIC!!!! And the outdoor seating was worth the heat because the view was gorgeous.
