El Pollo Loco

This location does not allow dine in as stated on Google nor does it allow pick up if u order on the app. When I came to the location it states requires Vax as of 11.4.21 but today is 10.30.21. The point of pick up is so that I don't have to wait in the long drive thru but instead I had to wait outside the door for 15 minutes so the employee can tell me to go thru the drive thru for a pick up order. Do not come to this location unless u are doing drive thru only.

This location always has the slowest drive-thru. Half the time I leave and go someplace else. Today I stuck it out. When I finally got up there to order, they were out of the chicken tortilla soup which is the only thing I wanted. The other locations are only 5 minutes away. I highly recommend visiting a different location instead.

Ordered online and went to pick it up. Upon arrival found that the doors were locked and all pick up orders must go through drive through, which took 30 minutes. The entire place seemed to be manned by 2 teenagers. My order was missing half of the items. After back and forth a few times, I ran out of patience and left. My order was still missing all the salsas and salad dressing. I will not be back.

Normally I love El Pollo Loco. However this store in East Pasadena is below par. It is very small and crowded during lunch time. So small in fact that trying to get to the condiment bar is a battle. The condiment bar was a mess with salsa all over the place. When I got my 2 piece breast and wing combo I noticed that the breast was the smallest I have ever received in this chain. Very disappointing. Note to management, either redo this store to make it work better or just close it. In the future I will go to the store in Alhambra which is larger and better run.
