We were undecided to where we should get some good matcha desserts. So my daughter check Yelp and decided to go here due to the good rating. The inside has good aesthetics.. We ordered almond matcha cookie and matcha tiramisu. I wasn't disappointed it had a good amount of matcha flavor.. The customer service was amazing. I gave it 4 stars due to the bathroom cleanliness. But overall I would differently come back.

The desserts are sooooo pretty and sooooo cute!! I'm such a sucker for sweets (especially if they're cute). The desserts are so cute, i didnt want to eat it. They have gloss cakes, matcha tiramisu, croissants(matcha, churro, hazelnut, chocolate, original flavors), almond cookies, cream puffs! I really liked the chocolate cream puff and the hazelnut croissant. The matcha cream puff was a bit bitter for me; if it was slighty sweeter, i would totally enjoy it. We also tried their house milk tea and that was really good too, it had the perfect tea, milk, and brown sugar ratio! Gonna come back next time to try their afternoon tea.

I decided to try this place out one Saturday morning when our usual weekend morning haunt, Amara, was just too busy. I checked yelp and saw good reviews and the picture of the latte or cappuccino looked promising. I liked that the space was nice, big, clean and bright. We ordered 2 classic croissants, a latte and a mocha. Firstly, the coffees came in a 12 oz paper cup, no coffee art....and my latte was not hot, just warm.....and what's worse was that it tasted like watered down coffee!! At $4.20 a pop, you would expect a decent barista style latte! Especially with the likes of Intelligentsia, Copa Vida and Amara as competition just round the corner! I really wanted to like this place but I had a few sips of the watered down 'latte' and threw it out! The croissant was more bread like, and lacked the flakiness I am used to at Amara. I won't be recommending this new place to anyone who is a coffee lover. You will be better off at one of the other coffee places mentioned above. To the owner of this new establishment, get yourself a true blooded coffee barista!!
