I happened to be in Pasadena Saturday night, so I decided to go see a stand-up comedy show. Everyone told me I can't go wrong at the Ice House. No kidding. I saw two shows back to back. Jeff Leachs shown was great. Erica Rhodes is a super star. This woman can make anyone laugh with any topic. She's hilarious. I then stayed for Keith Grabers' "Fudge Factor" show. WOW. It was absolutely intoxicating laughs all night with spontaneous jokes and observations. From the opening act to the last word of the night, this was the most hilarious show I have ever seen. The audience did not want to leave. I'll be back. And I live 3 hours away.

Let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality at the Ice House! I can't even count how often different staff members checked in with me and asked if I needed anything. They were on top of their game, ensuring everything was running smoothly for both performers and guests. Performing at the Ice House after its grand reopening was a true delight. Penny, the GM, is a force to be reckoned with - she runs that ship tighter than a drum. And the entire staff? Oh, they're just phenomenal. You're greeted with genuine warmth and smiles from the moment you set foot in the place. They were always ready to lend a helping hand, ensuring everything was right. The front desk ladies were rock stars! Not only were they fantastic at their jobs, but they also had an incredible sense of humor that had me laughing non-stop. Finding such a perfect blend of professionalism and fun in a comedy club is rare, but the Ice House nails it! What sets the Ice House apart from other comedy clubs is the atmosphere. It's like stepping into a big, welcoming family gathering. It's a breath of fresh air in an industry that can sometimes be impersonal. And let me tell you when a waitress walked past me and cheerfully said, "Welcome back!" on only my second visit, I was blown away. I can't thank Penny enough for creating such a fantastic environment for comedians like me to perform. It makes all the difference in the world. It is a special place, and they deserve all the praise they get. Here's to more laughs and memorable performances at the Ice House! Cheers!
