Refuge cafe is located outside The Reject shop on level 2 of Westfield Parramaara. It features a wide window display or sandwiches, wraps, light meals and sweet treats. The dining area is cosy and semi-secluded. Sadly the avocado toast I ordered is probably the worst I've ever had. The avocado itself was cold and rather tasteless, even though the dish was well presented. I'd suggest trying out this cafe if you are after a light snack or just a coffee, but don't expect great things

A takeaway lunch order of 2x small chips toasted chicken wrap a chicken mustard toasted Turkish sandwich and 2x drinks. Dear lady that served me did her best to prepare our orders without calling out for assistance her other 2x colleague looked like managers in conversation while cooking up our chips! 3 stars is for the lady that served me. In hurry to get back to work and didn’t check what I ordered we ended up with 1x small chips burnt chicken wrap in total $33 after sitting down to have lunch. I hope these reviews is viewed by the managers to better their service.

Love the cuppacino and hot chocolate here.

One of the worst hospitality experiences I've ever had. Staff where all over the place, service was slow, food made me feel sick, coffee was very ordinary. I don't expect much from a shopping centre but this was abysmal.

Yummy food and flexible menu keeps everyone happy. All of this at reasonable prices. Quiet place to meet friends before or during shopping. The list of reasons to meet here grows quickly because you want to go back for more. Wonderful place for mother daughter or any other family combination.
Staff are attentive and always happy to oblige with old style waitressing hospitality.
Refreshing to escape franchise models while at the same time still knowing what to expect.
Good old fashioned excellence.
Both hot and cold beverages here are always deliciously sophisticated as are the cakes and wide selection of hot and cold meals. Lots of spacious seating and floor space. Partitioned off with public toilets nearby allowing customers like myself to enjoy the cafe for hours on end with good company.
Is it possible to have drunk every drink on the menu and tasted every meal? This may be why I'm now in a privileged position to ask for modifications and preferences. Before too long they may consider naming a meal after me. But I fear I'm not their only frequent customer. Press like if you like this place too.

First of all, this place makes great coffee.. I love my morning white chocolate mocha!
For personal reasons I have to check the ingredients in everything I eat. I'm a peanut butter lover and I couldn't order my morning toast with this cafe because the peanut butter brand they used wasn't suitable. The owner actually went out of his way to find a peanut butter that he knew I would be able to eat, I never asked him to do this and was so appreciative when he showed it to me one morning. This is great service and this place deserves a 5 star rating!
