It was our first time ordering a takeaway from here. Actually our first time eating their food.
It arrived in super quick time. The delivery man followed our specific instructions on how to find us without getting lost and having to ring us.
Wow, the food is so very good probably one of the nicest Indian foods I've ever had. This meal will do us for 2 days. We had 3 starters and 2 mains. Looking forward to tomorrow's tea.

The food is always fresh and the quality is superb. I am confident that I can order anything off the menu and know that I'm going to have a very enjoyable meal!
All of the staff are always really friendly and the chef really knows what they are doing in the kitchen!
To put it simply, this is THE BEST takeaway for miles and miles.

Wow! Ordered our first takeaway meal from Royal gurkha newstead. A Phall which in struggle to find elsewhere whilst Carol Hibbert had a Gurkha Kathmandu chef special. OMG, it was amazing! Anyone local should try! We’ll definitely be eating in sometime soon. 5 stars from us!

Amazing, the lamb was so tender and the taste sensational. We ordered the meal for two. It was very generous and we will be enjoying the rest tomorrow.
The onion bhaji was perfect and not greasy.
We will definitely be coming back. Just wish we had made the effort sooner.

Our first visit to the Royal Gurkha, the restaurant was spotlessly clean, the welcome was warm and the food delicious. We particularlly like Nepalese food and our choice tonight was well cooked and generous. We look forward to more visits in the near future.

Our first visit to the Royal Gurkha restaurant in Newstead village, where we all enjoyed a wonderful meal. The food was excellent with a welcoming service. We had a wide choice of dishes, all with a Gurkha twist that was delightfully different from the standard Indian fare. It's a little of the beaten track, but well worth a visit.
